Making choices is like a thousand tiny deaths.
This was the most poignant idea that I took from my Ethics class a few terms ago. Though I never really found out who originated the saying, nevertheless, it stuck. And everytime I make a choice, I do feel like I am killing a future part of my life, a what-if, an opportunity, a possibility.
So when Prof. Bong de Ungria of our MarkMa class asked us to create our own 20 year personal plan that we can use to guide us in achieving our objectives, I quickly thought of that saying and the movie "Something's Got To Give" where my dream house was inspired. The title of the movie is also quite meaningful, in making choices, one has got to give to another choice. It's inevitable.
So here it is. My personal plan for the next 20 years.
